Volkswagen Wins Engine of The Year

The good folks at Volkswagen knew that they had something good going on when they developed the TSI Twincharger engine, and now they've proven it. 

The 1.4litre TSI Twincharger engine won Engine of The Year at the The International Engine of The Year Awards held in Stuttgart, Germany last week. The engine also bagged two more honours: Best Engine in the 1.0 to 1.4litre category, as well as the Green Engine of the Year, beating out favourites Honda and Toyota.

Volkswagen uses the 1.4litre Twincharger in models like the Golf, Scirocco and the Eos.
