Road safety   I WAS once forced to stop in the middle of the highway in front of a Tapah lay-by for a group of bikers to enter the highway. This was done by a police outrider. For me, this is wrong. The police should ensure that the bikers join the highway in an unobtrusive manner but not forcing others to stop to give way. Road manners are clearly absent here and these bikers resemble road bullies in some sort of way. - 019-2114182   Click here to read more.

Importing used car parts   WHEN will the government stop imports of used car parts? ñ 012-6792740 Reply: The revised NAP (national automotive policy) in 2009 states that imports of used parts will be prohibited effective June 2011.      I AGREE with 016-2028660. The government can stop imports of used car parts if vehicle prices here are fair and affordable. I AM a frequent PLUS user. I drive a 1.3 wira 1.3. Quite often I have difficulties overtaking at speed 110km of commercial vehicles at 110km with 70/80km or 80/90km stickers at their back – especially the 70/80km ones. Half way overtaking on the right lane, other powerful cars would catch up behind me and flash their lights. So I used to overtake on the clear empty left lane in such a situation. Not too sure which class you are referring too but if in price category, we think it is the first.   The Renault Koleos is designed by Renault, developed by Nissan, which makes the X-Trail, and manufactured by Renault Samsung Motors. Public transport   THE goverment should consider extending a tax subsidy to the public for using public transport similar to the one given for books and magazines. For example, RM300 rebate for every bus/taxi ticket used for a consecutive 12-month period or something better. This would spur and encourage more people to use public transport and save on tax. I guess when there is a tax deduction given, even the rich will consider and hopefully we can and will reduce the amount of cars on the road. - 012 5201848 Click here to read more.
