Back with a vengeance

The Xmen team of adventurers are returning to the jungles of Terengganu this week with a vengeance to conquer the elusive Elephant Mudhole and Terminator Hill. The 23 participants in eight vehicles were flagged off from Tasik Kenyir Lake View Resort and Spa yesterday and rolled into Laloh town for refuelling before heading into the jungle. The adventurers are optimistic to pick up from where they left off when they failed to reach the Elephant Mudhole during their previous attempt last May.Click here to read more.

From Ipswich to Ipoh

They came from America, Japan, Switzerland, Singapore and Malaysia with one common aim. It was to undertake a driving expedition for 65 days covering Europe and Asia. This was a drive of a lifetime, starting from Ipswich in Britain and finishing in Ipoh, Malaysia. This undertaking was under the auspicies of the Royal Perak Motor Club. Click here to read more.

Rolls-Royce on a roll

ROLLS-ROYCE Motor Cars is set to make a grand entry in Malaysia by the end of the year. “It has been too long that we’ve not been represented in Malaysia. We’ve serious expressions of interest from many Malaysian companies," said Colin Kelly, Asia Pacific director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd, on the sidelines of the special preview in Singapore last week of the soon-to-be launched Rolls-Royce. Centipede MT for the adventurer

THE Simex Centipede MT is a reputable tyre that is well-known and popular among offroaders and 4x4 enthusiasts. As the numerics suggest, power from the imposing 6.5-litre V12 has been boosted to 670hp and 660Nm of torque simply by just tinkering with the valve timing and air intake.
