Sanya offroad battle beckons

From Sept 19 to 23, it's Enter the Dragon, the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) style of 4x4 event "exported" to China.The host venue of this inaugural China-Sanya International 4x4 Challenge, a signature event from the Founder of the RFC, will be Sanya.Some 50 Chinese teams will be joined by 15 overseas groups representing Europe, the Middle East, South Asia and South East Asia, making this the "hottest 4x4 action" to be held in China.Click here to read more.

Golden anniversary of three-point seat belt

More than one million lives were saved by the three-point safety belt, an invention created 50 years ago by Volvo engineer Nils Bohlin.Bohlin studied the safety belts used by jet fighter pilots and learnt that a more practical system was needed.Using the strongest parts of the body (the rib cage and the hip), the three-point seat belt was invented and is still in use today.Click here to read more.
