High in safety XC60

Volvo Cars Malaysia launched its crossover model, the XC60, in Kuala Lumpur last week.

According to Volvo, the XC60 blends in the capability of an SUV (sports utility vehicle) and the sporty charisma of a coupe as well as introducing Volvo's new emotive and expressive design DNA.

The XC60 is deemed to be Volvo's safest car, as it comes loaded with a myriad of safety features, and introduces Volvo's City Safety technology.

The Swedish marque claims that this technology is the world's first unique safety technology to help avoid low-speed collisions in city traffic.

Volvo Cars Malaysia is bringing in two full imported variants of the XC60, the XC60 T6 LE and SE.

Both variants are powered by a 285hp six-cylinder turbocharged T6 engine, equipped with all-wheel drive with Instant Traction and come standard with the City Safety technology.

Prices for the XC60 are RM330,000 for the SE variant and RM360,000 for the LE variant. Both prices quoted are on the road without insurance.
