Powered by a supercharged 1,198cc V-twin engine, taken from the 1098R Ducati, the naked superbike Vyrus 987 C3 4V blows all other superbikes into the weeds as it grabs the title of “most powerful production motorcycle in the world”.

Don’t worry if the name doesn’t ring a bell - Vyrus is a tiny Rimni-based Italian company under the stewardship of Ascanio Rodorigo, who worked with Massimo Tamburini at Bimota in the early 1980s.

With prices starting at Euros 55,000 (RM261,713) for the entry level 184bhp 987 and Euros 65,000 (RM309,285) for this, Vyrus - with its limited production capacity - already has its order books filled for the 987 until June.
