2 down, 18 left!!!!

When words got out that our police force would be using the Evo X as their special patrol cars, generally Malaysians were excited and proud.

When the Italian police force can be proud of their Lamborghini patrol car (Lamborghini actually donated the cars), our PDRM boys will be flying high in their manual Mitsubishi Lancer X.

Newspapers later confirmed the story that PDRM has 20 units of the cars, and Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia informed us the training for the pilots were done in the police force training ground in Muar.

Apparently, our source informs us today that only 18 out of the 20 cars are still running around.
"Two cars were totalled. One at the Sungai Besi corner heading towards Jalan Istana, right after the delivery of the cars," he says.

He however does not have the details about what happened to the other unit, but he confirms that two units have crashed and are beyond repair.

We hope the drivers were unhurt, and if anybody from the police force is reading this, can we have a go at the manual Evo cars?
